Arrival of international flights to New Delhi, India’s capital. Our team will greet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel in the city center. You’ll meet your guide and the rest of the group over dinner.

🗓️ Day 2 – Flight to Leh (3,500 m)
Early morning flight from Delhi to Leh—a spectacular journey offering aerial views of the Himalayas and some of the world’s tallest peaks. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel and rest for altitude acclimatization. In the afternoon, we’ll gather for a briefing on riding in India, safety, and the tour itinerary. Explore the charming old town, a maze of alleyways, mud-brick homes, and bustling Tibetan markets.

🗓️ Day 3 – Ride: Leh Valley Exploration (Thiksey, Hemis, Stakna)
Today we meet our support team and get familiar with the Royal Enfield Himalayans. We’ll ride through the Leh Valley, visiting iconic monasteries like Hemis, Stakna, and Thiksey—the latter often compared to the Potala Palace in Lhasa and featured in Seven Years in Tibet.
Our hotel is located near Thiksey Monastery and is operated by local monks.

🗓️ Day 4 – Thiksey ➝ Khardung La Pass ➝ Nubra Valley
Early risers can attend the 6:30 AM morning puja at Thiksey Monastery—a powerful ceremony of trumpets, chants, and gongs. After breakfast, we ascend to Khardung La (5,602 m), one of the world’s highest motorable roads. After photos and a short break, we descend into the lush and surreal Nubra Valley, an oasis amid the Himalayas.

🗓️ Day 5 – Nubra ➝ Wari La Pass ➝ Sakti
A challenging but unforgettable day. We cross Wari La Pass (5,300 m) via a mix of paved and dirt tracks—offering epic panoramas of the mountains. We arrive in Sakti, a peaceful mountain village.

🗓️ Day 6 – Sakti ➝ Chang La Pass ➝ Pangong Lake
We tackle Chang La Pass, the world’s third-highest at 5,360 m, en route to the legendary Pangong Lake, a high-altitude lake straddling India and Tibet. Known for its surreal shades of blue, Pangong is surrounded by majestic peaks and untouched wilderness.

🗓️ Day 7 – Pangong ➝ Tso Kar Lake
We ride west through dramatic terrain toward Tso Kar, the “White Lake” of the Rupshu Plateau. At 4,530 m, it is a haven for migratory birds and surrounded by snow-dusted mountains and open grasslands. A true high-altitude gem.

🗓️ Day 8 – Tso Kar ➝ Leh
We return to Leh via the Indus Valley, enjoying scenic mountain passes and a few hidden gems along the way. Upon arrival, we visit Shanti Stupa and Tsemo Gompa, which overlook the city.

🗓️ Day 9 – Leh ➝ Delhi
Morning flight from Leh to Delhi, arriving around 11 AM. Transfer to hotel in central Delhi. Free time to explore the capital, shop, or opt for an afternoon excursion to the Taj Mahal in Agra (optional).

🗓️ Day 10 – Departure
Transfer to the airport for your international flight.
End of tour and our services.
Tour Duration
10 days / 9 nights (from day 1 to day 9 inclusive).
Group meets at the hotel in Delhi on Day 1.
Pillions (passengers) can join the trip either on a motorcycle or in the support vehicle.
The Price Includes
- Royal Enfield motorcycle rental for the entire tour (Himalayan 452 or equivalent).
- Hotels: Mid-range hotels (typically 3-star) from nights 1 to 9.
- Twin-share basis (single room supplement: $270). (1*)
- Breakfast, drinking water, and tea during the road trip.
- Internal flights: Delhi – Leh and Leh – Delhi.
- Experienced English-speaking guide familiar with the route.
- Mechanic specialized in Royal Enfield motorcycles.
- Support vehicle and driver for luggage and roadside assistance (starting from 4 participants).
- Fuel, maintenance, and repairs for the motorcycles.
- Third-party motorcycle insurance, first-aid kit, and essential medicines.
- All necessary permits for the Ladakh region (including Khardung La and Nubra Valley).
- Transfers between Leh airport and hotel.
Not Included in the Price
- International flights to/from Delhi.
- Indian visa (required for most nationalities).
- Personal expenses (souvenirs, alcoholic beverages, extra activities, etc.).
- Meals not included in the program (budget $6–11 per meal).
- Tips for the tour staff, hotel, and restaurant personnel.
- Transport during free days.
- Travel assistance insurance covering motorcycle use (mandatory). (2*)
- $860 motorcycle deposit (refundable if no damages).
Weather Conditions
During the tour season (typically between June and September), expect dry, sunny days with cool mornings and evenings. Temperatures in Ladakh usually range from 10°C to 25°C, but high-altitude areas like Khardung La can be colder. High-SPF sunblock, UV-protective sunglasses, and gloves are essential.
Recommended Motorcycle Gear
- Full-face or modular helmet
- Armored summer motorcycle jacket and pants
- Gloves and summer riding boots
- Waterproof rain suit (afternoon mountain showers are possible)
- A magnetic tank bag is handy for storing small items like cameras or gloves
1*: Room sharing is arranged by booking date. Last-minute reservations may require a single room if no sharing options remain.
2*: Travel insurance covering motorcycle riding is mandatory and must include medical expenses and repatriation.
